10.13 Mac Os X Download Updated
10.13 Mac Os X Download
Hello all; I've searched for a total of near two hours to answer this with no luck. Mayhap someone here has an idea:
I take Mac Pro (Mid 2010). I don't normally edit much for my piece of work but I picked up a pretty unproblematic gig. I am more familiar with Final Cutting than Premier simply did not accept that installed on this box so I dl'd it and alas, I need to exist at to the lowest degree on High Sierra 10.13.6. Currently I am on 10.12.6. I tin notice HS 10.thirteen.six of course but HS x.thirteen.0 is a ghost. Can't get from 10.12.half dozen to 10.13.6 without the magical unicorn 10.13.0. Suggestions? Surreptitious web hideouts?
Conversely..I could look for an earlier version of Final Cut only haven't put time to that yet but at this stage, I'll do whatever comes quickest equally time is becoming a cistron.
I have an unsupported Nvidia board (TitanX) so I can't leapfrog to Mojave equally a solution either.
Thanks for whatsoever helpful suggestions.
Oh how overnice.. Once I posted, MR was and then kind as to point out I am newbie. haha.. well, to the site, yes. Simply I've been in post biz on macs since the early 90's.. that should protect me from any flames, right?
Thanks for the enquiry amaze, but yep.. as jbarley notes - I need the initial upgrade 10.xiii.0. Which is auspiciously blanked on the entirety of the interwebs. The German language site was a crafty thought, but information technology besides redirects to a expressionless terminate, alas.
Perhaps someone has the downloaded installer sitting around on a disk somewhere they could upload to moi? Or, know how to get a hold of FCP compatible with 10.12.ten? Or??
Thoughts?
Cheers for the inquiry amaze, but yes.. as jbarley notes - I need the initial upgrade 10.xiii.0. Which is auspiciously blanked on the entirety of the interwebs. The German site was a crafty thought, but it also redirects to a dead end, alas.

Are yous looking to do the initial install to 10.xiii.0 and then update to 10.thirteen.6 using High Sierra updaters or volition you stay on x.thirteen.0?
The current version of FCP needs at to the lowest degree ten.thirteen.6, so aye.. that update is still available and I accept it dl'd. Just have to get to 10.xiii.0 first.
I don't understand why you would go for ten.xiii.0 rather than a bugfixed 10.xiii.6?
ps. It is withal the total installer you download from App Shop.. Not just an update..
10.13.half-dozen requires x.xiii.0 to be installed first; no thing how many times I punch "install" with the full strength of my extended index finger with prejudice, because, Apple.
The current version of FCP needs at least 10.13.half-dozen, and so yeah.. that update is still available and I have it dl'd. Just accept to get to 10.13.0 first.
Hither is a link that volition have you to the US Apple App Store where yous tin download the full 10.13.6 installer. You will not need to go from 10.13.0 to ten.thirteen.half-dozen.

Edit: The full installer is an app that will be downloaded from the App Shop It will exist a "Install macOS High Sierra" app (around 5.25 GB) in the Applications folder and it will automatically launch later on it is downloaded. If you do not desire to install and then Quit the installer app when it commencement launches. The installer app will automatically delete after it completes the install. Information technology might be a good idea to salvage the installer on another deejay for after uses.

I'chiliad not in front of that organisation at the moment...prolly in near an hour I will exist- but, in my foggy tardily night retentiveness, I do believe I did end up at that app store folio to dl 10.thirteen.6. When I ran the installer, it said I needed 10.13.0 to be installed get-go. I will confirm here in a bit as to whether my mind is playing tricks on me or non. Thanks.
[doublepost=1542736178][/doublepost]..and truly, thank you lot. At to the lowest degree I feel there'south some winnowing down and a viable selection to piece of work with here. I'll update soon.
Ok..manifestly, someone slipped something hallucinatory in my drinkable...musta been me since I'chiliad the just one here.
Simply aye, plain I had dl'd the 10.xiii.vi updater and not the full install that chfr, DeltaMac and CoastalOR were linking me to. Dl'd that and at present running 10.13.6 & latestest/greatest FCP. The rift in the infinite-time continuum has mended and the existential disaster has been avoided due to your heroic intergalactic tenacity for justice and the Appian Way. All silliness aside, Thanks gents, for staying with it and helping me out.
See you at my side by side emergency..
You did read the Title, the role where the OP is looking for "Loftier Sierra 10.xiii.0" (zero)
The links yous supplied all lead to version 10.13.6
Focus on solution. Not the obstacle.
If your problem is happily no longer 1, then to put a "RESOLVED" before the title of your thread will brand it clear to all the readers.
I share your satisfaction.
Ed

doesn't always work to download. When it fails, hither'due south why: If in that location's a High Sierra or Mojave installer somewhere on your Mac, the App Shop will find it and abolish the download. Information technology can be anywhere — even an older version volition crusade the download to fail.
The solution: Find that installer. If you still need it, nil (compress) it. Rename the zipped file to something like Install macOS High Sierra x.13.half dozen.app.zip or Install macOS Mojave 10.14.4.app.naught. I always move the zip file(s) out of my Applications folder to somewhere else but that is probably not necessary.
Trash whatever original, uncompressed installers on your Mac. Now the link works correctly and the download will piece of work as advertised.

I had the same problem trying to download the full installation version of 10.13.6 (equally opposed tt the Upgrade version which requires ten.13.0 to exist installed first). Every download was cancelling out at virtually the thirty-forty% mark. I eventually got onto Apple Support and they sorted it out for me. Seems each unsuccessful download was leaving a small-scale file in Applications which blocked the next unsuccessful attempt. Got rid of all those files but still didn't piece of work, and so there was still something blocking the downloads that I couldn't find. And then Apple tree Back up recommended downloading in Prophylactic Mode - which I did, and that worked. I'm now on x.thirteen.vi which is the last upgrade that I can do for the age of my iMac (2010).
